MS Students Deliver Comfort, Hope to Pediatric Cancer Patients

Benjamin middle school students organized a drive to collect comfort items for pediatric cancer patients currently undergoing treatment at Jupiter Medical Center.

The student-led effort included donations of handmade blankets, cozy socks, and handwritten notes of encouragement.

Middle school faculty and parents helped support the service project.

“These are more than donations. They are reminders to our patients that they are supported by a community that cares,” Jupiter Medical Center wrote in a Facebook post.

Director of Student Services Susan Poncy said through the drive, middle school students embodied the values Benjamin strives to nurture every day.

“Their actions reflect genuine kindness and compassion for those facing difficult journeys. By selflessly giving their time and talents, these middle school students demonstrated gratitude for the ability to serve and a strong sense of responsibility to uplift others in their community. This act of service is another example of the character our school is so proud to cultivate,” she said.
