The Benjamin School’s middle school robotics team earned the Innovate Award at the VEX IQ competition held over the weekend in Miami. The prestigious honor recognizes teams that demonstrate exceptional design, creativity, and engineering excellence in their robot.
With the award, the team has qualified for theVEX IQ World Championship in St. Louis.
“Out of 48 teams at the competition today, just seven qualified for Worlds, and our students earned one of those spots,” faculty advisor Michael Saccone said. “We are incredibly proud of the students for their creativity, teamwork, and perseverance. They represented Benjamin well.”
