BASH 2026, Sea of Possibilities, was an unforgettable evening that transformed PGA National Resort & Spa into a breathtaking undersea oasis. From the moment guests arrived, they were immersed in a world of creativity and wonder. Inside the ballroom, flowing drapery, oversized seascapes, and captivating water projections brought the deep sea to life, including a mesmerizing aerialist performance at center stage.
“We are tremendously grateful for our dedicated co-chairs Cynthia & Justin Roemer ’02 and Leigh & Josh Arwood ’95 who made this extraordinary night possible,” said Director of Special Events Kristin Maltese. “In addition, the night wouldn’t have been possible without our BASH committee including 27 sub-committee co-chairs leading 12 subcommittees and more than 130 volunteers,” she said.
With 408 guests in attendance and 70 sponsors, the evening featured over 450 silent auction items, 10 live auction experiences, and 21 premier online items, all made possible by our generous community.
“This year’s BASH Gala was truly an elevated evening where every detail reflected the beauty and spirit of our ‘Sea of Possibilities.’ From the breathtaking décor to the incredible energy in the room, it was clear this was a night made extraordinary by our deeply supportive community,” said co-chair Leigh Arwood.
Co-Chair Cynthia Roemer said the evening beautifully captured the essence of the Benjamin community.
“From the stunning, sea-inspired decor to the inspiring Call From the Heart in support of our exceptional faculty and staff, the energy in the room was extraordinary. We are profoundly grateful for the generosity, spirit, and deep love for our school,” she said.
This year's gala raised $1.6 million. Part of the proceeds will go to the Faculty and Staff Excellence Fund which will enhance teacher professional development, retention and recruiting, and refreshing classrooms.
