March 2026

    • Lower School - March 2026

      AMC Construction has completed the roof at the Jenkins Family Lower School office. Interior ceiling work has begun, while the air conditioning system and all bathrooms are substantially complete. The new Green Dot carline received a final layer of asphalt, and the irrigation system and most of the landscaping have been installed. Flooring installation and power activation are scheduled next.

    • Upper School - March 2026

      In the Bodstrom Family Student Union, crews have begun hanging drywall in the first-floor dining area while continuing essential plumbing and electrical work. On the second floor, AMC has started installing ductwork, with drywall installation to follow. At the Stiles-Nicholson Innovation Center, the roof is now watertight. Exterior stucco work is underway, while interior framing and window installation have commenced on the first floor. Additionally, the cement walkways fronting the classrooms and elevator area have been poured.

February 2026

    • Lower School - February 2026

      Work progressed at the Jenkins Family Lower School Office in Mid-February, where the stucco has been completed while drywall work and low voltage wire-running started inside. Looking ahead, AMC Construction will start exterior painting next week, which will be followed by landscaping and fencing to complete the new carline at Green Dot.

    • Upper School - February 2026

      At the Bodstrom Family Student Union, roof truss work was completed last week, as was the installation of a grease trap for the kitchen. Next week, interior framing will begin, followed by window installations on both floors. At the Stiles-Nicholson Innovation Center, roof trusses were just installed, and the shoring was removed from the balcony walkways. Upcoming work includes contractors waterproofing window openings, followed by window installations in a couple of weeks.

January 2026

    • Lower School - January 2026

      Over the holiday break, the roof underlayment of the Jenkins Family Lower School Office was installed. Inside, contractors started electrical wiring, ducting and metal framing work. The new Green Dot Carline received asphalt as crews started working on the curbs. The carline is expected to partially open in the coming weeks. Construction is 50% complete.

    • Upper School - January 2026

      Underground storm structures were installed during the holiday break. The structural bridge connecting the Bodstrom Family Student Union to building 5 was erected. Steel beams for the second floor and balcony are also going in. At the Stiles-Nicholson Innovation Center, the second floor is taking shape with a concrete pour scheduled and metal stairs installed. Construction on both of these facilities is 30% complete.

December 2025

    • Lower School - December 2025

      At the Lower School, a crane was mobilized to set the trusses for the roof of the Jenkins Family Lower School Office. Crews also began grading work on the new Green Dot carline, ensuring the site is precisely leveled in preparation for asphalt. A partial opening of Green Dot is anticipated in January.

    • Upper School - December 2025

      AMC construction continued their progress at the Upper School, highlighted by the successful pouring of the foundations for both the Bodstrom Family Student Union and the Stiles-Nicholson Innovation Center. Beginning at 3:00 a.m., crews coordinated dozens of cement mixers to achieve a continuous, uninterrupted pour.

Week of November 17

    • Lower School - Week of November 17

      Work continued on the Jenkins Family Lower School Office and Green Dot Carline as construction crews poured concrete for the foundation slab. Prior to this, contactors had completed the underground plumbing and electrical work. A partial opening of the Green Dot carline is anticipated after Thanksgiving break. 

    • Upper School - Week of November 17

      At the Upper School, two transformative new facilities are steadily taking shape. AMC Construction recently poured the foundation for the elevator shaft in the Stiles-Nicholson Innovation Center. Meanwhile, underground plumbing and electrical work continue in both the Innovation Center and the Bodstrom Family Student Union. Additionally, we finalized the purchase of new kitchen equipment. This equipment will enable our chefs to prepare freshly cooked meals onsite beginning next school year!

November 2025
Vertical construction has begun on both campuses. Construction workers are starting to form the outer walls of the Jenkins Family Lower School Office. On the Upper School campus, you can clearly see how the first floor walls of the Bodstrom Family Student Union have been erected. The adjacent Stiles-Nicholson Innovation Center is not far behind. These buildings will eventually rise to two stories and have a total of 8 new state-of-the-art classrooms. In addition, the Student Union will be the new gathering space for the campus, providing daily fresh meals cooked onsite as well as unique meeting spaces for our school community along the lake.

October 2025
Construction is moving forward across both campuses. At the Upper School, foundations for the Stiles-Nicholson Innovation Center and Bodstrom Family Student Union have been poured, marking a major milestone in the Boundless campaign. The new dining facility will feature a chef’s kitchen, lakefront seating, and added classrooms, while the Innovation Center will unite STEAM disciplines in six advanced labs. At the Lower School, work continues on the Jenkins Family Office and Carline, with “Green Dot” expected to partially reopen after Thanksgiving.

A brand new Lower School office will include space for administrative offices, an expanded clinic, and ACE operations. At 4,837 square feet, this building will be double the current size. In addition, a new traffic circle and ample parking will help with the flow of vehicles. 
A 12,260 square foot Student Union will provide gathering and eating space for 9th-12th grade students with room for 322 seats inside and 76 seats outside. The second level will be home to two classrooms, one large multi-purpose area, and a sprawling outdoor balcony.  The Student Union will serve as an important place on campus for teachers and students alike to build community. 
This state-of-the-art 9,850 square foot facility will boast six large labs. The Innovation Center will bring STEAM education under one roof, much like the Maglio Family STEM Center on the LS/MS campus.
