Alex Perkins Named to Dairy Farmers Academic All-State Team
Senior Alex Perkins has been selected to the prestigious Florida Dairy Farmers Academic All-State Team, one of the highest honors awarded to student-athletes in the state.
The Academic All-State Team, presented by the Florida High School Athletic Association in partnership with the Florida Dairy Farmers, recognizes 24 of the state’s top senior student-athletes who demonstrate a balance of academic achievement, athletic performance, and community involvement.
Perkins is among a select group of students recognized for excellence both in the classroom and in athletics. As part of this distinction, Perkins will receive a $1,700 scholarship to support continued education. Additionally, finalists are eligible for the top honor, the Ronald N. Davis Scholar-Athlete of the Year award.
Honorees will participate in a series of pre-event activities, including submitting personal materials and participating in a video feature highlighting their accomplishments.
The celebration will culminate at the 32nd Annual FHSAA Academic All-State Team Awards Banquet on June 8 in Gainesville, where Perkins will be honored alongside fellow recipients from across Florida.
