TBS Captures Two State Championships in Historic Week

In an extraordinary four-day stretch, Benjamin student-athletes captured two FHSAA state championships and one state runner-up finish, capping off a remarkable spring sports season for the school.

“We are incredibly proud of our Girls Track & Field team for securing its second consecutive FHSAA state title and our Boys Lacrosse team for claiming its third straight state championship. Our Boys Track & Field team also delivered an outstanding performance, finishing as the FHSAA state runner-up,” said Athletic Director Ryan Smith ‘93.

“These accomplishments reflect the unwavering commitment, dedication, and resilience of our student-athletes and coaches,” Smith said. “Despite facing numerous injuries throughout the season, each team demonstrated remarkable grit, perseverance, and determination in representing both their teams and The Benjamin School at the highest level.”

The championship performances highlighted the depth and strength of Benjamin athletics, with multiple programs reaching the pinnacle of statewide competition in the same week.
