Fifth Grade Students Celebrate Greek Mythology Extravaganza

Fifth grade students dressed as Athena, Apollo, Artemis and a host of other Greek Gods and Goddesses paraded around Kennerly Field on May 9 during the annual Greek Myth Extravaganza. The festival is the culmination of their study of mythology during the school year.

Teacher Joanna Hogan led students, dressed as their favorite mythological characters, around Kennerly Field to show off their costumes. Students continued the celebration outside of the Peltz building, where they took pictures with parents and friends. Hogan says it’s great to see students enjoying the annual tradition and proudly showing off their costumes.
