How to Use an EpiPen

Anaphylaxis (allergic reaction to food) is unpredictable and when it comes to potentially life-threatening allergic reactions, you need to have a plan. Your plan should include avoiding known allergens, recognizing the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis, having access to two epinephrine auto-injectors at all times and seeking immediate emergency medical care should anaphylaxis occur.
The Benjamin School faculty and staff have been taught how to recognize the signs and symptoms of an allergic reaction and the proper use of an EpiPen and Auvi-Q.
