Academic Dean Hosts Remote Learning Session For Faculty

Upper School Academic Dean Caroline Guzman hosted “Looking Back, Looking Ahead,” a Zoom session for upper school faculty to reflect on the close of the Spring remote learning experience and prepare for the start of virtual classes on August 18.

Upper School faculty broke out into small physically distanced groups following the Zoom session to discuss how to make the Fall’s remote learning experience a positive experience for both students and teachers.

“In this session, we focused on relationship building with our students in a virtual classroom. Unsurprisingly our teachers have some great ideas and creative ways to build those relationships from day one and I am so excited for our students to get to experience what our remote learning program has to offer,” said Guzman.

Upper and Middle School students will begin the remote learning experience on August 18 using the School’s proprietary “Connected Classroom” software.
