Class of 2017 Awarded Diplomas At Commencement
Members of the class of 2017 received their high school diplomas on May 19 in Benjamin Hall from Head of School Robert Goldberg during a ceremony celebrating their time at The Benjamin School. The ceremony marked the culmination of traditional graduation week events including the Senior Awards Banquet, baccalaureate ceremony, and alumni luncheon.
“ . . . From raising your own butterfly farms in the second grade, to my first glimpse of competitive energy in the lower school Olympics, to exploding pumpkins in 8th grade science class, I came to the conclusion that such a great part of who I am and who we all are is made up of these many moments we have experienced at this school with one another. I am tremendously proud to represent a class of people who dare to cross social boundaries. Who are truly and unapologetically themselves,” said salutatorian Brittany Silvester.
