Freshmen Perform For Local Senior Citizens

Freshmen students performed in the second annual “Freshmen Got Talent” event October 11 in Benjamin Hall for an audience of senior citizens from local retirement communities. The seniors were treated to a variety of performances from the talented group of freshmen.

Will Mahon and Crystal Pauldo hosted the event, which included vocal, dance and comedy performances by the class of 2021.

“Like for many of the artists and performers you will meet today, the arts play an important role in our lives here at Benjamin and we are so happy we can share this with you,” said Pauldo.

Highlights of the show included Danai Makoni’s rendition of Harry Styles’ “Sign of the Times,” a duet by Chloe Habib and Lexi McCulla, and Skylar Ladd’s solo ballet performance of Tchaikovsky's “Finger Lady.” Freshmen members of Benjamin dance team The Dazzlers closed the show with Beyonce’s “Girls Run the World.”
