Children need to be healthy to learn. They should have adequate sleep and a good breakfast before school. If your child shows any of the following signs, he/she should be kept home.

Fever 100.4 or higher in the past 24 hours without the use of a fever-reducing agent such as Tylenol and/or Ibuprofen.

Vomiting in the past 24 hours.

Diarrhea in the past 24 hours.

Undiagnosed Rash.

Frequent uncontrolled cough.

An open or oozing sore: unless it is properly covered with a bandage that will not leak wound drainage while at school.

Strep Throat - must be on antibiotics for 24 hours.

Conjunctivitis (Pinkeye) must be on antibiotic eye drops for 24 hours.
